Traveling to Cape Town


Airport information

Cape Town International Airport is the main gateway to the city, serving direct flights from major cities worldwide. The airport is about 15 km (20 minutes by car) from Century City Conference Centre. Taxis, airport shuttles, and ride-hailing services are readily available at the airport to get to Century City.

Getting around

The MyCiTi bus rapid transit system has a dedicated stop at Century City, linking the precinct with downtown Cape Town and other key areas. Established taxi and shuttle companies as well as ride-hailing services are commonly used to get around. Accommodation at Century City is within safe walking distance of the venue.

Information for presenters

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

  • Each oral presenter has 8-10 minutes to present.
  • Individual presenters will receive more information about their session allocation via email.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  • The poster boards are 90 cm x 120 cm (width x height) or size A0.
  • Posters will be displayed on both 19 and 20 May in the Verve. Please plan to put up your poster on the morning of 19 May.
  • The poster boards will be marked with poster IDs. Individual presenters will receive their poster IDs via email.
  • Double-sided tape will be provided and volunteers will be available to assist.
